Representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, officials from both countries' relevant ministries, the Vietnamese community in Laos, and local citizens attended the event, which aims to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day (December 22).

Speaking at the event, People's Artist Tran Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, said that the show features many spectacular acts, allowing the audience to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and people, the close friendship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as the achievements of their enduring brotherhood.
He highlighted that this art exchange is an opportunity to reflect on and inherit the revolutionary traditions of past generations, harnessing the strengths of both nations to enhance their friendship, comprehensive cooperation, solidarity and unity.
During the performance, artists from both countries showcased impressive and skillful acts, including aerial acrobatics, tightrope walking, and animal tricks, complemented by artistic sound, light, and smoke effects that created a vibrant atmosphere.
This event not only provides a platform for Vietnamese and Lao circus artists to meet and share experience but also reinforces the great friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.
The show will run until December 24 at the Lao national circus theater in Vientiane.
