The festival, the third of this kind, aimed to honor artisans, traditional silk and brocade handicraft villages; promote silk and brocade products to international visitors and global silk producers; and expand markets of traditional silk and brocade products.

The Hoi An silk village, where silk has been produced and exported over the past 300 years, is expected to be a bridge bringing Vietnam's silk to the world through activities of honoring traditional silk; and to be a commercial silk distribution center of Vietnam.

People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images of the festival in the Hoi An silk village.
