The Vietnamese Embassy in Austria has organised a “Vietnam Night" at Astoria hotel in the centre of Vienna to introduce the image of Vietnam, its land, people and culture to the outside world.

The event, which aimed at promoting bilateral trade, investment and tourism between Vietnam and Austria, drew the participation of over 250 guests from the Austrian Presidential Office, various ministries, Viennese authorities, ambassadors of ASEAN member countries, representatives of international organisations in Vienna and businessmen who are doing business in Vietnam.

"Vietnam Night” provided participants with a better understanding of Vietnam through an exhibition of pictures on Vietnam, a traditional art performance and typical Vietnamese cuisine.
