More than 100 clubs and high schools nationwide took part in the fourth National U17 Basketball Championship, whose final round will take place from June 15th to June 19th in Can Tho.

The event, organized by the Vietnam Basketball Federation, the Tien Phong Newspaper and the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, aims to select outstanding athletes for the national team.

The best athletes will be selected for the fifth Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival in Hanoi in late June and the Asian Youth Sports Games in Nanjing, China in August.
