Many vibrant cultural activities at U.S. - Vietnam Friendship Festival
PANO - On November 23, the U.S. - Vietnam Friendship Festival took place at Cau Giay Park in Hanoi. The event was organized by the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi in cooperation with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO).

This was the final event in a series of four festivals held in various provinces and cities in Vietnam this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of U.S. - Vietnam bilateral relations. Previously, similar festivals were held in Da Nang, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The festival, which offered free admission, attracted large crowds of Hanoians of all ages who came to enjoy lively activities representing both American and Vietnamese cultures. These included American sports, handicraft workshops, English spelling competitions, dance lessons, music performances, and more. Notably, the program featured performances by well-known artists such as Suboi, Lyhan, and MaiQuinn from the group “Em Xinh Say Hi.” The festival also showcased traditional cuisine from both the U.S. and Vietnam.
With its diverse range of activities, the U.S. - Vietnam Friendship Festival was considered a unique event that highlighted the depth and breadth of cooperation between the two countries. It also reflected their shared aspiration to strengthen mutual understanding through cultural exchanges.

According to U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper, this festival was an opportunity to honor the strength of the U.S. - Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and three decades of growth in their bilateral ties.
