An art troupe from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will entertain Vietnamese audiences with special performances during their week-long tour beginning on Dec. 16.
They include artists, dancers and instrumentalists from the DPRK National Art Troupe, the well-known opera theatre “The Sea of Blood” and the “Kim Won Gyun” Pyongyang Conservatory of Music.
The tour forms part of the celebrations of the DPRK’s 60th National Day and the 50th anniversary of late President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Vietnam.
On this occasion, a delegation of the DPRK Ministry of Culture, headed by Deputy Minister Han Chol, will pay a visit to Vietnam and work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
