Korean artists to perform in Vietnam

An art troupe from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will entertain Vietnamese audiences with special performances during their week-long tour beginning on Dec. 16.

They include artists, dancers and instrumentalists from the DPRK National Art Troupe, the well-known opera theatre “The Sea of Blood” and the “Kim Won Gyun” Pyongyang Conservatory of Music.

The tour forms part of the celebrations of the DPRK’s 60^th National Day and the 50^th anniversary of late President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Vietnam.

On this occasion, a delegation of the DPRK Ministry of Culture, headed by Deputy Minister Han Chol, will pay a visit to Vietnam and work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
