Over more than 100 years, the market has been a unique cultural space of local ethnic groups in Meo Vac district in particular, and in Ha Giang province in general.

The locals visit Khau Vai “love market” not only to trade but mainly to make friends and pray for happiness while enjoying the traditional cultural values of ethnic communities in Dong Van plateau.

At the same time, visitors here have a chance to experience many activities, such as incense offering ceremony and enjoying art performances, to name but a few.
