At the meeting, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) and the Italian Embassy in Vietnam said that the program aims to provide food-bloggers and lovers of Italian food with full and precise information about Italy’s pasta.
According to Italian ambassador to Vietnam Antonio Alessandro, pasta, a typical food of Italy, has become a favorite dish worldwide.
The Italian diplomat also added that when the EVFTA comes into effect, the two countries’ trade turnover would increase significantly. Furthermore, it would open up new opportunities for Italian cuisine to become more popular in Vietnam.
After Ho Chi Minh City, the program will be held in Da Nang in July, Hai Phong in September, and Hanoi in November.
The program is part of the project “True Italian Taste,” which has been carried out by Italy to introduce its cuisine in 40 countries and territories since 2018.
