PANO – A festival of Francophone films will be organised in Hanoi from March 12th-27th to mark the International French Speaking Day on March 20th.
The festival will introduce 13 films of seven Francophone countries, including “Don’t Burn” of Vietnam, to viewers. Movies will also be screened at several cinemas in Ho Chi Minh City and Hue City.
Besides, the event will also be celebrated in the Mekong River Delta and the Temple of Literature in Hanoi on March 19th. At the ceremony in the Temple of Literature, various prizes will be given to French and Vietnamese people, who have made great contributions to the development of the French language.
