Speaking at the launching ceremony, Swiss Consul in HCM City Othmar Hrdegger said the photos were taken during McFreddy’s journey exploring the Mekong Delta and HCM City over the last 12 years.

Each photo tells an interesting story about Vietnamese people to remind the audience of how life can be seen from everyday ordinary things. With passion and experience, McFreddy has captured beautiful moments of the daily life of people living in big cities and countryside, particularly rural children.

McFreddy used to be a farmer with a strong passion for photography at a young age, said Consul Othmar Hardegger. All his works displayed at the event depict hardworking people in Vietnam, for example, people in Ben Tre making coconut products or traditional pottery artisans in Vinh Long, he added.
