Hung Nguyen, a representative of a tourism company in Da Nang, Da Nang’s Tourism Promotion Center, and the DIFF 2024’s organizing panel have listed best places for tourists to fully enjoy firework displays during DIFF 2024.
The best place is the main grandstand and stage location on sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the fireworks area. With a capacity of more than 10,000 seats, tourists can enjoy the fireworks and music performances comfortably. Ticket prices range from VND 800,000 to VND 3 million, offering five different seating categories.
Public places, such as Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, are highly recommended. To these locations, people are advised to park their vehicle and arrive early before the opening ceremony, and carry minimal valuable belongings due to the expected crowd.
High-rise buildings on Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao streets are also perfect for watching firework displays. These locations offer a more private setting. People have to make reservations and pay for food and drinks. Some notable venues include Sky 36 bar, Brilliant Top Bar, Altitude Pool Bar, and hotels like Novotel Danang Premier Han River, Wink Hotel Danang Riverside, Hilton Danang, Melia Vinpearl Danang Riverfront, and Ibiza Riverfront.
Cruise ships on the Han River are recommended for tourists to experience the fireworks. There are nearly 20 kinds of cruise ships available, including 4U Danang Yacht, Danang Dragon Cruise, RV Han Princess, Han Giang, and Ocean Tour. These cruises provide dinner services on board and allow enjoying the fireworks on the river. These ships work from around 4-5p.m. to around 9-10p.m. The ships depart and dock at the Han River Port.
