Nearly 1,300 artisans and athletes from the province’s localities competed together and participated in a number of interesting sports and artistic categories.

In particular, festival goers were entertained with the Gong and traditional musical instrument performances, and special singing and dances of the participating ethnic minority people.

The triennial event offers an opportunity for local ethnic minority groups to exchange and maintain their cultural identities as well as consolidate unity among ethnic groups.

Here are several photos of the festival.
