Gifts presented to armed forces and people along Vietnam-Laos borderline
PANO – A delegation of A Luoi district, Thua Thien - Hue province handed over gifts on October 3 to armed forces and people in two adjacent villages in Salavan and Sekong provinces of Laos and households affected by typhoon No.5 in Quang Nham commune, A Luoi district.
In border areas, including the Hong Van - Co Tai Border Post, the delegation has worked with Hong Van and Nham Border Posts under the Thua Thien - Hue provincial Border Guard Command to encourage and grant 130 gifts, worth VND 550,000 each to Ta Vang Police Post of Border Company 511 under the Lao Salavan provincial Military Command and local people in Co Tai and Se Sap villages in Salavan and Sekong provinces.

In addition, the delegation also presented 70 gifts to needy people in Quang Nham commune, A Luoi district who were affected by the recent storm.
The meaningful activity contributed to helping armed forces as well as people in border areas stabilize their lives while tightening solidarity between the two peoples and armed forces.
