During the two-day gathering, delegates will discuss two major issues, namely reviewing cooperation among APEC members over the past year and preparing declarations for reporting to APEC economic leaders.

Just after the CSOM concludes, a press conference will be held to announce the meeting’s outcomes on the afternoon of November 7.

Along with the CSOM, Da Nang also hosts the APEC Voices of the Future (VOF) from November 5-10 and the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Meeting from November 4-6.

The APEC 2017 takes the theme “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future” with four priorities of promoting sustainable, innovative and inclusive growth; boosting regional economic connectivity; increasing competitiveness and creativity of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises; and enhancing food security and sustainable agriculture and adaptation to climate change.
