Tet publications to be presented to remote troops
PANO – The Nhandan (People) Newspaper, on December 30 in Hanoi held a ceremony to publish and present the lunar New Year (Tet) issue 2023 to troops stationed in border areas and on islands.
This is an annual activity on the occasion of the Tet festival of the newspaper and relevant units and organs.
Accordingly, the program was to share difficulties and encourage troops on duty in remote areas to firmly protect national sovereignty during the traditional holiday.
Addressing the event, Editor in Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission cum Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Le Quoc Minh noted that the Tet issue will bring an overview of the country in the past year.

Especially, in recent time, the newspaper has changed its Tet issue’s cover so as to better serve readers, including officers and soldiers in border areas and on islands.
On the occasion, about 30,000 copies of the Tet issue of the Nhandan Newspaper were presented to soldiers stationed in border areas and on remote islands.
