Saigon Newport Corporation disseminates information about national seas and islands
PANO – A delegation of the Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), led by its Deputy Director Senior Colonel Pham Van Phen, in coordination with the Kon Tum provincial Commission for Education and Information, held an information dissemination drive about national seas and islands in localities of Kon Tum province.
Via the program, SNP also want to seek high-quality human resources for the Navy.
On this occasion, 200 officials at district and commune levels, policemen, military people and teachers were equipped with basic knowledge of the national seas and islands, the Party’s and State’s policies and viewpoints on issues in the East Sea and national sovereignty over the seas and islands.

They also learned about the responsibility of the Vietnam’s People Navy in managing and firmly protecting national sovereignty over the seas and islands.
In Kon Tum city, over 300 12th grade students were provided information about military schools and academies as well as the Party’s policy to build a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern navy in the current context.
On this occasion, the SNP also started the construction of three gratitude houses, worth VND 80 million each, in the districts of Kon Ray and Sa Thay (Kon Tum), presented 1,000 notebooks and 300 boxes of colored pencils to students at Le Quy Don primary school, and granted 50 scholarships to poor students in the city.
Since 2016, the SNP has built 15 gratitude houses, presented lots of scholarships to needy students, offered hundreds of gifts to poor households, and taken care of six heroic Vietnamese mothers, among others.
