The second - the final round, attracts 100 students with the best results from the first round. The contestants will participate in a live competition based on the gameshow script "Ring the Golden Bell."

During the final, students answered multiple-choice questions and were equipped with basic knowledge about Vietnam's sea and islands; the Vietnam People's Army and the coast guard force; the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) 1982, the Vietnam Law of the Sea and Coast Guard Law; regulations on illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing prevention; the tradition, history, culture of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, among others.
According to the organizing panel, the contest aims to raise patriotism and love for national sea and islands, as well as strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding among troops of Coast Guard Region 3, local people, teachers and students in the stationed area.

As a result, Vuong Ngoc Anh, a ninth-grader from Luong The Vinh Secondary School, won the first prize. The organizers presented nine second, third, and consolation prizes to outstanding students.
On the occasion, the organizers handed over 15 bicycles and 80 scholarships to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results.
