PANO – On June 5th the People’s Deputies Newspaper launched an artistic program, themed “Homeland contemplated from the sea”, in response to the National Seas and Islands Week 2016.

During the program, audiences could enjoy interesting performances in praise of the beauty of national seas and islands, and to learn more about the Vietnam Coast Guard, the Fisheries Surveillance Force and fishermen, who are day and night safeguarding national sovereignty over seas and islands. The program was also seen as a bridge to connect between islands and the mainland.
