Spring atmosphere on Dong Van Karst Plateau
PANO –In Spring every year, Nguyen Huu Thong from Bac Giang province has come to the Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang province to take photos of the colorful life there.

Road to Cao Street in cloudy mist runs through the houses and the fresh white color of plum blossoms. Cao Street is located along 4D highway, more than 30 km from Dong Van town. It still has special houses with typical yellow walls, warm in winter and cool in summer. |

According to photographer Nguyen Huu Thong, a member of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, on the occasion of the Spring festival, he wandered from Cao, Lung Tao, Sung La, Sa Phin streets in Dong Van town to Trang Kim street in Quan Ba district and Hoang Su Phi district in order to record beautiful moments. "I have started to take photos in Ha Giang since 2010. I learn different experiences from each trip. The images of peach trees growing on the edge of a stone fence or the houses' walls are quite rare now. Cement fibro roofs are replacing yin and yang tiles, while three-ball bricks are used instead of mud walls," Thong said. |
