Located in Dai Tam commune, My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province, the pagoda is tiled with colorful plates and bowls.

The pagoda was built in 1815 in a spacious area with lots of trees. It was damaged by bombardments during the war but was rebuilt on an area of 2.1 hectares in 1969. During the reconstruction, due to a lack of construction materials, monks came up with the idea to call for donations of bowls and plates from local people to decorate the main building. Therefore, the pagoda was also called as Chen Kieu Pagoda, which means bowls and plates.

The pagoda is a spiritual place that is peaceful and indispensable for Khmer people and other locals.
