Accordingly, the program will start first in Hanoi’s Thanh Nien street from August 20th to September 4th, in between Truc Bach and West Lakes. Nguyen Hue street in Ho Chi Minh City and My Khe beach in Da Nang city are next places to hold the program. In addition, the program will be extended to other tourism places nationwide in 2017.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Head of VNAT Ha Van Sieu shared that the program aims to share nice photos of Vietnam to Vietnamese people and foreign friends to attract more tourists to Vietnam.
The program to take high quality photos with an overall view resulted from the idea of “GIGA Selfie” project launched by Tourism Australia, the world’s biggest selfie for Japanese tourists, helping to increase a number of Japanese tourists in 2015 by 12.5% compared to the same period of 2014.
