The Ministry of National Defense presented gifts to national contributors from Dong Thap province.

Veteran Le Van Ngoc, 74, from Vinh Kim commune, lost an arm to a grenade blast while repelling enemy raids. Despite his status as a wounded soldier, he continues to lead an active life with agricultural production. Ngoc voiced deep gratitude for state support policies that help veterans with disabilities to overcome adversity.

Reflecting the national tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source," the reception served as an opportunity for military personnel to pay tribute to previous generations for their sacrifices. Authorized by the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Political Affairs, Senior Colonel Ngo Thi Le, Deputy Director of the Department of Policy and Social Affairs, welcomed the delegation. She expressed profound gratitude to Dong Thap’s national contributors and encouraged them to continue inspiring younger generations to build and develop their homeland.

During the gathering, meaningful gifts were presented to the delegates, showing the military’s ever-lasting responsibility toward those who fought for national independence.
