* A delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee, and Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Secretary of the city’s Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his museum in Ho Chi Minh City and laid a wreath at his statue on Nguyen Hue walking street.
Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh also participated in the activities.
The delegation later offered incense to President Ton Duc Thang at his museum.
* Representatives from the Hung Yen provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee and Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front offered incense at a memorial dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh and at a statue of Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh as well as monuments of the local martyrs.

During the event, delegates promised to promote national traditions and the revolutionary cause, overcome difficulties to further develop Hung Yen into a province of civilization and modernization.
* Bac Ninh province organized a similar activity offering incense to martyrs at the local war cemetery. On this occasion, they are determined to promote the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to the local development.
* The Road 14 – Phuoc Long Campaign’s Museum was officially established in Long Thuy ward on August 31 by the People’s Committee of Phuoc Long town. The museum was upgraded from the town’s hall of fame, which was built in 2014 on an area of over 4,400sq.m at a cost of over VND 11 billion.
Currently, the museum is preserving over 500 images and display items of the Road 14 – Phuoc Long campaign as well as the people, culture and history of Phuoc Long.
* On Sept. 1, the Bac Lieu provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to present Party membership badges to senior Party members in the province. Bac Lieu has so far had 87 Party members awarded with the noble badge, including five 70-year Party membership badges and three 65-year Party membership badges.
* A delegation from the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and Committee, and the Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited and offered incense at the provincial war cemetery.
The activity was to pay tribute to martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom.
* Long An province also sent a delegation of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and Committee, and Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to pay tribute to martyrs at the provincial war cemetery. On this occasion, delegates recalled the glorious history of the nation and offered incense to martyrs.
