The program, which is part of Microsoft's global project called YouthSpark, aims to equip over 600 disadvantaged youths with relevant knowledge and skills so that they will be able to work at Vietnam's information technology (IT) sector.

Since 2004, the organization has provided vocational training to more than 13,000 needy young people aged between 16 and 30, including early dropouts, poor youths, trafficking and domestic violence victims, ethnic minority youths, as well as youths with disabilities or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Within the framework of the project, Microsoft will provide financial support and share specialist knowledge to develop a programming training curriculum for 240 participants on web, graphics and 3D graphic designing courses at Reach centers in Northern and Central Vietnam.
