Vietnamese young intellectuals’ forum to highlight national development
More than 200 official delegates, including more than 90% trained abroad and currently working in 20 countries and territories, will join the 6th global forum of Vietnamese young intellectuals, slated for July 19-21, heard a press briefing in Hanoi on July 14.
The delegation includes professors, associate professors, and doctors in cutting-edge fields such as AI, nuclear physics, medical technology, green economy, digital transformation, and more.

Under the theme “Global Vietnamese young intellectuals contribute to advancing the nation into a new era,” the event is an practical activity to concretize the Politburo’s Resolution 57-NQ/TW, aiming to maximize the role, intellect, and creativity of young Vietnamese intellectuals in national development.
Speaking at the press briefing, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, and head of the forum organizing board Nguyen Tung Lam emphasized that the forum is not only an annual event but a strategic initiative to form an ecosystem connecting young Vietnamese intellectuals globally, fostering multi-disciplinary cooperation, and contributing to the vision of a prosperous and powerful Vietnam by 2045.

This year’s forum features innovations in content and format, focusing on connecting young intellectuals with the realities of national development through practical experiences and in-depth dialogues with leading technology corporations and innovation ecosystems in Vietnam.
Delegates will focus discussions on four key themes - AI applications to improve labor productivity; innovation startups linked with the green economy and sustainable development; sustainable adaptation to global changes; and development of cultural and educational foundations in the new era.
Innovative proposals and solutions from the forum will be compiled and submitted to the Party and State leadership to inform policies that promote the role of global young Vietnamese intellectuals during 2025-2030, with a vision toward 2045.
During the three-day forum, delegates will visit Vinfast Hai Phong factory and meet with national leaders.
