Vietnam - Germany Hospital marks 110 years of operation
PANO - On December 23, the Vietnam - Germany (Viet Duc) Hospital marked its 110th founding anniversary and received the first-class Labor Order for the second time in the presence of State President Tran Dai Quang.
Speaking at the ceremony, the State President congratulated and praised the hospital's generations of doctors and medical workers for their contributions and achievements over the past time.

He stressed that the country has embarked on the industrialization and modernization and the international integration with both advantages and disadvantages such as environmental pollution, labor accidents, and dangerous epidemics. Thus, he asked the medical sector in general and the hospital in particular to focus on improving healthcare services and applying strict regulations so as to continuously qualify its professional processes. President Tran Dai Quang also urged the hospital staff to continue enhancing scientific research, expanding international cooperation and applying technical advances, so as to catch up with regional and international healthcare standards.
On this occasion, the President also attended the inauguration ceremonies of the hospital's traditional house, Ton That Tung Meeting Hall, and Ton Duc Lang Hall in the campus of the the hospital.
