Co-organized by the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU Hanoi) and the China Scholarship Council, the event marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations and the Vietnam China Humanistic Exchange Year 2025.
It provided Vietnamese students with direct access to information on a wide range of academic programs, attractive scholarship opportunities, and advanced learning environments in China.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, VNU Hanoi Vice President Dao Thanh Truong highlighted the university’s fruitful cooperation with the China Scholarship Council. He expressed hope that the exhibition will lead to more student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and diversified collaborative models, thereby enhancing the quality of higher education in both countries.
Wang Qun, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, emphasized that educational cooperation between Vietnam and China is entering a new stage of development, expanding both in scale and depth. He affirmed that the exhibition contributes to fostering stronger educational exchanges and youth engagement between the two nations.
Tian Lulu, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Scholarship Council, said the Chinese universities came not only to present the development of Chinese higher education and study abroad policies, but also to strengthen academic exchange with Vietnamese partners and elevate bilateral educational cooperation to a new level.
On this occasion, VNU Hanoi held a signing ceremony for a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between VNU Hanoi, Nanjing University, and Sunwah Group, as well as an MoU between VNU Hanoi, Shandong University, and Goertek Group.
VNU Hanoi Vice President Truong affirmed that proactive partnerships between leading educational institutions in Vietnam and China not only nurture mutual understanding and friendship among the younger generations but also exemplify the university - university -business cooperation model.
This model effectively integrates diverse strengths and aligns with key Vietnamese resolutions on promoting science, technology, innovation, and high-quality human resource development.
He expressed confidence that the signed cooperation agreements will soon be implemented effectively and deliver positive, far-reaching impacts on academic communities, youth, and society at large.
VNU Hanoi is committed to continuing its role as a dynamic bridge connecting universities, research institutions, and businesses in both countries, contributing to the creation of exemplary education cooperation models in the region and globally, Truong noted.
