Nearly 70 years dedicated to the cause of national liberation and reunification, the late president held many important positions. He was the first person to be conferred with the Sao Vang (Golden Star) Order by the Vietnamese Party and State. He was also awarded with Lenin Order and Lenin Prize of the Soviet Union.

The delegation is introduced to the memorial area dedicated to the late State leader in Long Xuyen city, in the southern province of An Giang.

Speaking at the event, Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hoped that the staff of the management board of the memorial area dedicated to President Ton Duc Thang would further implement collection work, while introducing the value of the relic site to visitors.
