At the congress, delegates will evaluate the outcomes of the implementation of the resolution of the fourth congress, draw lessons, determine targets, missions, and measures to enhance the quality of task implementation in the 2023-2028 period, and elect new executive board.

Within the framework of the 5th congress, delegates will pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

An overview of the press conference

VAVA is tasked to protect the legal and legitimate rights and benefits of AO victims focusing on taking care of and fighting for justice of the Vietnamese victims. Over the past two decades, the association has successfully fulfilled assigned missions thanks to the attention and support of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, local party committees and authorities, the Vietnamese living at home and abroad, and international friends.

The association now has a total of more than 400,000 members in all 63 provinces and cities across the country.
