Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan speaks at the event. |
Speaking at the program, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, who is Chairwoman of the Sponsorship Council of the VCF, emphasized that the humane acts of organizations and individuals have helped spread beautiful images of the care and concern of the Party, the State, and society for children. She called on organizations, individuals, and businesses at home and abroad to continue joining hands in both material and spiritual support, accompanying efforts to assist poor children and those in difficult circumstances nationwide, so that they can enjoy better living conditions and development opportunities.
With the theme “Sowing smiles forever,” the 19th “Spring for you” program aims to promote humane actions for children in especially difficult circumstances across the country on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. Thanks to the joint efforts of nearly 60 organizations and individuals, the VCF has received more than VND 116 billion to carry out child support activities in 2026.
Previously, in 2025, the fund allocated received VND 125 billion to assist nearly 140,000 children. These results were vividly reflected through reports broadcast during the program. Through realistic footage, the pain and losses endured by many children and families due to natural disasters and floods were clearly portrayed. Amidst such hardships, the support of the fund has become a source of strength, helping children gradually overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In addition, the program introduced inspiring stories of resilience, including the journeys of children who once received support from the fund and have now confidently continued on their paths of study and work, as well as those who are still facing many hardships but continue to nurture dreams, develop their talents, and demonstrate determination to overcome adversity. These real-life snapshots further conveyed messages of faith, hope, and the community’s shared responsibility toward children.
Prof., Dr. Ngo Quy Chau, Professional Director of Tam Anh General Hospital, said, “I am truly moved by the responsible and humane contributions of organizations, individuals, and benefactors for children. These acts not only provide practical support but also add faith and warmth, giving children more motivation to overcome illness and look toward a brighter future.”
“Spring for you” is an annual program of the VCF, aimed at honoring and expressing gratitude to organizations and individuals who have accompanied the fund in caring for children, while continuing to call on sponsors to join hands in supporting children in especially difficult circumstances nationwide.
