Rice aid allocated to Tuyen Quang province on lunar New Year
Over 218 tonnes of rice from the national reserves will be allocated to the north mountainous province of Tuyen Quang to assist needy residents during the Tet (traditional lunar New Year) Festival under a decision freshly signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc.
Under Decision No.227/QD-TTg, the Ministry of Finance will distribute more than 218 tons of rice from the national reserves to support underprivileged residents in Tuyen Quang province.
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs were tasked with implementing the delivery of rice in accordance with regulations and ensuring accountability for the relevant data and reports.
Meanwhile, the Tuyen Quang provincial People’s Committee is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the reported data and delivering the rice aid promptly, to the correct recipients, and in accordance with prescribed quotas.
