Real estate project in Hanoi presented EDGE certification
PANO - Nam Cuong Corporation’s Anland Complex project was granted the “Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE)” certification (Green certification), by the International Finance Organization (IFC) – a member of the World Bank Group on April 2, Hanoi.
At the certification-granting ceremony
To achieve this certification, projects must meet rigorous standards of design, material selection, and operational management. The 25-floor Anland Complex, West of Hanoi, with 551 apartments, is one of a few real estate projects in Vietnam to obtain the EDGE certification. Apart from Anland Complex, other projects in Duong Noi Township (Ha Dong district, Hanoi) such as An Khang, An Phu are expected to getting the EDGE certification from now to 2020.
Previously, at the workshop “Zero-energy township”, an expert of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) said that Vietnam is paying attention to building green urban areas as they are designed to use energy efficiently and minimize dependence on the national grid.
In addition to building the EDGE certification system, IFC also supports Government agencies in several countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam in implementing solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and limit the impacts of climate change.
