Speaking at the meeting, held on the occasion of 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30) and the upcoming 50th anniversary of the group (September 3), the top legislator asked the group deeply study and effectively implement the Politburo's Conclusion 76-KL/TW regarding the strategic orientation for the development of Vietnam's petroleum industry to, with a vision towards 2035. This includes ensuring national energy security, economic security, food security, contributing to the protection of national security and sovereignty at sea, and social welfare.

The group needs to continue implementing reforms and innovations, applying advanced governance methods to enhance management efficiency, manage resources effectively, and improve competitiveness, he said.

Additionally, it should focus on innovation in line with the Politburo's Resolution 57-NQ/TW regarding breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

The top legislator emphasized the importance of creating a better environment for workers, focusing on both the material and spiritual lives of employees. The Trade Union should continue playing an active role to serve as a reliable support for more than 60,000 workers in the sector.

Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Petrovietnam Members’ Council, affirmed that the group will integrate the NA Chairman's guidelines into its action programs, strategies and business plans, while continuing its efforts to contribute to national socio-economic development and be worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people.
