PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City’s Communist Youth Union yesterday gave awards to 27 outstanding young workers at a ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Workers’ Day.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Dua highly valued the efforts and role of young workers, especially the honoured ones, and urged relevant agencies to create favourable conditions for employees to work and develop as well as discover, honour and multiply the best examples.

Over the past time, young workers in the city carried out many practical projects in contribution to Ho Chi Minh City construction and development, such as “Beautifying street light posts”, “Youth Park October 15th”, “Festival to Consult administrative procedures to local people and businesses”, and “Cultural boarding-houses”.
