This annual festival, organized on the occasion of the International Children’s Day (June 1), aims to cement solidarity and friendship among participating countries, including Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, the Philippines and the host Vietnam, through children’s exchanges.

During the event, themed “For a green planet”, children will join an artistic gala to be broadcast live at 20:10 on June 1 on Vietnam Television’s Channel 1 (VTV1), and a program named “Friendship days” during which children will take part in games and activities to contribute to a green, clean and beautiful environment.

As Mrs. Diem Quynh, head of the festival organizing panel, said, the festival is expected to bring joy to participating children and raise their awareness of environmental protection via a wide range of outdoor activities.
