As a flagship initiative of the community project “Digital Literacy for All,” the program forms part of a national scheme to equip 20 million young people with digital business skills.

It was jointly organized by the Supporting Centre for Youth Start-up (SYS Vietnam) and TikTok Vietnam, with the support of Nhan Dan newspaper.

Aimed at fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among young people, the program also supports national digital transformation, promotes local economic growth, and enhances the international presence of Vietnamese products in the digital age. It seeks to build a generation of tech-savvy youths ready to thrive in a fast-evolving digital economy.

Held in an in-person format, the training  course brought together content creators, TikTok channel developers, and students from the Digital Literacy for All project – a non-profit initiative focused on artificial intelligence and digital business skills, particularly for youths in remote, rural, and disadvantaged areas. The event was delivered in collaboration with SYS Vietnam, MCN DAKE, and the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency (IDEA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Nguyen Dinh Hoa, a master’s degree holder and representative of the project’s volunteer training team, stated that the initiative aims to make digital knowledge accessible to all segments of society, with a focus on young people in underdeveloped regions.

By spreading knowledge of AI, e-commerce, and digital communication, the project is hoped to bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation to master emerging technologies, he said.

Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, hailed the program as a model initiative, noting that this project exemplifies the pioneering role of the Vietnamese youth in the country’s digital transformation, aligning with the objectives set out in Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in the development of science, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution 68 on the development of the private sector.

Through the training, participants gained practical skills in personal branding, digital content creation, and utilizing platforms like TikTok to launch start-ups and promote products. The initiative not only boosts young people’s digital capabilities but also acts as a bridge, bringing local products and cultural identity closer to consumers at home and abroad, Quy added.
