Lung Cu Flag Tower is in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province. Its construction was started on March 8, 2010, and completed on the National Day (September 2) of 2010. It stands at the peak of Rong (Dragon) Mountain with the height of 1,468m from sea level. Lung Cu Flag Tower is nearly 35m in height, the flag is 54 square meters wide, symbolizing 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Located in the Lung Po Border Station in A Mu Sung commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cao province, Lung Po flagpole was built on March 26, 2016, and finished on December 16, 2017. The work is 31.43 meters high and covers an area of 2,100 sq.m. It holds a 25 sq.m flag representing 25 ethnic minority groups in the border mountainous province of Lao Cai.
