During the program, veterans, youths, local young people, and students from Hanoi University of Culture were introduced to key events of the 1945 August Revolution and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam, now the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

Participants also watched short documentary films about the August Revolution and National Day, viewed historical photographs and documents, and took part in history-themed games.

Through these activities, young participants gained a better understanding of major milestones in the nation’s history, the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the General Uprising to seize power, and the historic significance of September 2, 1945.

Students take part in the “Journey following the Golden Star” program.

By combining traditional education with interactive experiences and creative activities, the program offered participants deeper insight into the nation’s history of construction and defense. It also helped promote revolutionary tradition while fostering pride and a stronger sense of responsibility among younger generations for preserving the value of peace and national independence and contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.
