Milk for needy children in Hung Yen province
PANO – The “Vietnam Rising” Milk Fund on December 24 donated over 70,500 glasses of milk, worth VND 460 million to more than 1,500 students at Nhan Hoa primary school in Nhan Hoa commune, My Hao district, Hung Yen province.
Launched since 2008, the fund has been sponsored by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and supported by the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk).

The fund aims to help children have the best physical and mental growth.
Speaking at the event, Executive Director of Vinamilk Bui Thi Huong said the “Vietnam Rising” Milk Fund is part of the program carried out by Vinamilk for the community over the past ten years. The achievements will be a motivation for the company to promote and expand the program to support Vietnamese children, she added.
Over the past ten years, the Fund provided 31.5 million glasses of milk worth VND 130 billion to nearly 400,000 needy children nationwide.
In addition, Vinamilk has been known as a pioneer in implementing the School Milk Program since 2006. So far, the program has offered approximately VND 100 billion (equivalent to nearly 40 million boxes of milks) to 500,000 children in the provinces of Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Vung Tau.
