A team of young volunteers from Chungcheongnam province in the Republic of Korea went to the southern province of Long An to learn about farming work and husbandry from local farmers from March 30 to April 8.

Besides farming work, the young Korean volunteers also helped locals repair houses, and participated in a number of activities with local counterparts and introduced Korean culture.

Thai Van Quy, secretary of the district's youth union, said that the two provinces swore sisterhood in 2005. Under the agreement, youths from the two provinces have held exchanges on studying, culture and science and technology.
