“I love my Motherland” journey comes to Central Highlands
PANO - The Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) Central Committee, in association with the budget carrier Vietjet Air and the Thanh Nien Newspaper, on November 3 held the “I love my Motherland” journey in Ngoc Hoi commune, Kon Tum province.
More than 100 youths joined a flag-raising ceremony at the Junction of Indochina and offered incense at the Ngoc Hoi martyrs cemetery in Kon Tum province.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Youth Union Committee of Kon Tum province A Xay affirmed that today’s young generations in the Central Highlands are very happy and proud to be born and brought up in a glorious revolutionary cradle and environment.
On behalf of the delegates, A Xay expressed his determination to build a strong country, following the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho, and the Vietnamese people.
Youths in the Central Highlands will promote the spirit of the journey and continue to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings, he stressed.
Earlier, the delegation visited Kon Tum Museum and joined in a cultural exchange with local people.
As planned, the next destination of the journey will be in Da Nang (November 10), Nghe An province (November 17), Dien Bien province (November 24), and Ha Giang province (December 1).
The review ceremony is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on December 10 ahead of the eighth national congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation, for the 2019-2024 term.
