Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung presents flowers to congratulate the winners.

These projects were recognized for their groundbreaking advances in research and technology application, offering practical value and high socio-economic effectiveness, contributing to sustainable development and the improvement of quality of life.

Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of Bao Son Group and Chairman of the Bao Son Fund, shared that in 2024, the fund, in collaboration with the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), established an award council consisting of prestigious domestic and international scientists. After six months of implementation, the council received 28 projects, conducted preliminary evaluations, thoroughly assessed them, and selected the four most outstanding projects for recognition. Each award is valued at 3.1 billion VND (approximately 120,000 USD).

Deputy PM Dung emphasized that the development of science and technology is closely linked to the progress of many countries, serving as an essential driving force that affirms the strength and position of a nation.

The awarding ceremony is a concrete example of private enterprises actively and positively participating in implementing the Party and State's major policies and initiatives on science and technology development, particularly Resolution No.57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, and Resolution No.68 of the Politburo on developing the private economic sector.

Over the past years, the Bao Son Awards has supported, encouraged, and promoted inventions, innovations, and research results with high scientific and practical values, thus contributing importantly to the cause of building and safeguarding the country, he said.
