HCMC honors winners of the Young Information Technology Contest 2021
PANO – The Awarding Ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Information Technology Contest 2021 took place on November 28.
The event was jointly held by the Youth Union Organization, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Education and Training, the Association of Information Technology (IT) of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and the HCMC Television.

Launched in March 2021, the contest aimed to promote learning, creativeness, and IT application among the city’s students.
The contest drew the participation of 132,000 students at all levels from 217 primary, secondary and high schools of the city.
After the online qualifying round, the organizing panel selected nearly 700 contestants to compete in two categories of the final round, namely knowledge and skills in informatics and creative products.
In the end, the organizers selected and awarded three first prizes, five second prizes, eight third prizes, and 64 consolation prizes.
