Hanoi responds to Voluntary Blood Donation Day
PANO – The Hanoi municipal and Ba Dinh district Steering Committees for the Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign, on April 4, co-held a ceremony in response to the Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7).

Speaking at the event, Dao Ngoc Trieu, Deputy Head of the Hanoi municipal Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign, said that Hanoi frequently organizes a number of blood donation campaigns, namely the Pink Spring Festival, the Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7), the World Blood Donor Day (June 14), and more.
The blood donation campaign has become a meaningful activity for the Hanoi people.
Also, Pham Thi Diem, Vice Chairman of Ba Dinh district People’s Committee, underlined that the district will continue conducting information dissemination to call on people to donate blood, contributing to protecting their health and preventing diseases.
With the message “Donating blood to save lives – Don’t be afraid of COVID-19,” the event attracted the participation of a large number of people and received over 222 units of blood.
