First Vietnam Rice Festival to be held in Hau Giang

The first Vietnam Rice Festival will be held in the southern province of Hau Giang from November 28^th to December 2^nd and not from November 26^th – 30^th, 2009, as previously planned.

In addition, the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province has also set up the festival’s steering committee and organising panel. The former, led by Huynh Minh Chac, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and also Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, will include 41 members; while the latter, led by Trinh Quang Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, will include 36 members.
