The project will help the public organizations and families save their electricity bills and raise the public awareness of saving energy and using solar energy. The project can serve as a model for the city to expand the exploitation of solar energy sources in the future.
As scheduled, these solar energy systems will be installed from February to June 2019.
This is part of the Project on the "Development of Solar Energy in Da Nang" (DSED) funded by the European Union (EU) with the aim of increasing sustainable accessibility to clean energy sources.
The project, implemented from 2017 to 2020 with a total investment of EUR 444,169, includes three components: Support for drafting policies and regulations on solar energy development, Support for installation of solar photovoltaic panels at some selected facilities for demonstration and replication, and Capacity building and knowledge exchange on solar energy development.
