People in Bu Gia Map border district, after being given houses, are also given cows for economic development.

Therefore, creating conditions to support locals in developing production, stabilizing their lives, and getting rid of poverty is one of the key tasks of Party committees, authorities, and unions at all levels. The commune has concretized programs and policies, and mobilized and integrated resources to support people in developing production and business.

From available resources, the locality has implemented concerted measures to disseminate, review, and conduct statistics on social security needs, and provide loans. With timely support meeting the actual needs of each household, the poverty rate has decreased significantly over the years.

Currently there are only 127 poor and 80 near-poor households in Bu Gia Map commune.
