Phan Bao Ngoc (in red) brings meals to children in Moc Chau, Son La.

His mother died when he was 14. Several years later his father remarried and had a new life with a new woman. Ngoc then lived alone. After graduating from high school, Ngoc moved to Moc Chau district, Son La province to learn more about agriculture. He found that Moc Chau and his hometown have the same weather and terrain conditions, but it is easier to develop agriculture in Moc Chau district.

Visiting Moc Chau, Ngoc filmed the first videos about beautiful landscapes there and posted them on TikTok. Since then, he has gradually become a famous TikTok content creator. He held that initially, his friends and he just recorded videos and posted them on social media for fun, but these videos received active responses from users. That was out of his expectation.

The TikTok account named Ngoc Toc Review was established with an aim at introducing and selling highlands products. In 2022, he raised the Fund “Meals for children,” in order to provide free meals for ethnic minority children. The cost of the meals is extracted from his TikTok channel. So far, Ngoc has prepared nearly 600 meals for children in Moc Chau district.

Sharing about his future plans, he hoped that the project would be further expanded in all Northern mountainous provinces, bringing free and delicious meals to ethnic minority students. This practical activity means a lot to children in highlands areas. “Meals for children” are not only simply meals, but they also contribute to encouraging children in their life.
