BIDV brings clean water to people in Mekong Delta
PANO - With more than 4.6 million transactions made, the “Water for a green life 2020” program launched by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) collected more than VND 23,3 million to buy 13,300 water tanks and 39 water filters to help people in the Mekong Delta provinces.
Starting from 26 April to 12 May 2020, the program of BIDV aims to mobilize more funds to support people in provinces heavily hit by droughts and saltwater intrusion.
After the launch, the program saw the participation and support of a large number of customers. Notably, the bank took VND 5,000 from each money transfer transaction on BIDV SmartBanking and BIDV Online channels to buy water tanks and filters.
