BIDV to present 40,000 Tet gifts to poor people
PANO - The Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on January 10 in Hanoi announced its Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019 program to support the poor.
Such an annual social program, launched in 2009, aims to bring a happy Tet holiday to needy people across the country.

According to a representative from the bank, 40,000 Tet gifts, totally valued at VND 24 billion, will be presented to the poor, flood-hit victims, and troops nationwide.
The bank will send delegations to each locality to hand over gifts to the recipients.
This is the tenth consecutive year that BIDV has carried out such a meaningful program. So far, over 600,000 Tet gifts, worth more than VND 160 billion in total, have been handed over to the needy.
